“From the beginning, our collection has been full of contrasts. Our choices reflect patina and soul and an enduring style that anyone would find irresistible. Antiques enrich our surroundings and lives, creating welcoming homes that inspire and give us comfort.”
– Sheila Benson, Founder
Meet Foxglove’s Owner
Staci Davidman’s lifelong passion for antiques began early on, as her mother instilled a real appreciation for living with antiques in the home. When shopping for furnishings for her own home, she naturally searched for antiques, rarely venturing into a new furniture store.
After moving back to the U.S. in the late nineties following several years abroad (and countless weekends spent building her personal collection at various European markets), Staci began Joli, Inc., her business of importing primarily Swedish antiques. She became a regular participant on the US antique show circuit and established a permanent gallery at Foxglove in 2002. Staci immediately bonded with Foxglove’s owner and founder, Sheila Benson, over their shared affinity for beautiful homewares and a love of travel in search of special pieces to bring into to the shop.
Staci and Sheila soon began shopping together and sharing shipping containers from Europe, along with their close friend and fellow vendor John Turner. In 2021, Staci and John recognized a missing offering at Foxglove and began an additional vendorship, Lusso Home, sourcing primarily Italian mid-century lighting, furniture, and unique decor.
Following Sheila’s unexpected passing, Staci officially took over the shop in 2024 and rebranded as “Foxglove Antiques Collective.” Her continued goal is to carry on Foxglove’s 25+ year legacy as the premier destination for antiques in the Southeast and beyond.

In Beloved Memory of Sheila Benson
May 21, 1950 – August 19, 2023
Following a successful 20-year career in banking, Sheila Benson determined that the next chapter of her work life would be one surrounded by beautiful antiques, and the intriguing international travel required to obtain them. On May 21, 2000, she officially opened Foxglove Cottage Antiques in the heart of Buckhead. After one year and restless contemplation, Sheila made the bold transition to what she considered to be “the big leagues” of the antique world, and relocated Foxglove to the landmark Miami Circle design district. With this move, more spaces were opened to include additional vendors, and the shop was officially renamed to Foxglove Antiques & Galleries.
Over the next 23 years, Sheila skillfully nurtured Foxglove to become one of the nation’s largest, most beautiful, and highly-esteemed sources of well-curated antiques and home accessories. As a very ‘hands-on’ leader, she was at Foxglove daily and made countless friends in the world of interior design, whom appreciated her excellent taste, business acumen, and her authentic welcoming personality.
Sheila’s legacy lives on through Foxglove’s dedicated staff and dealers, who are committed to maintaining her high standards of above-and-beyond client services and her propensity for cultivating an extraordinary mix of gorgeous antiques.
