A Renaissance style Belgian painted wood mirror from the mid-19th century, with broken arch pediment and oval mirror plate. We currently have two available, priced and sold individually. Born in Italy during the 1850s, this exquisite Renaissance style mirror immediately attracts our attention with its broken arch pediment accented with delicate volutes. The central mirror plate of oval shape is surrounded by a molded inner frame, while the sides are adorned with pilasters and raised diamond motifs. With its striking presence and soft grey color, this Renaissance style painted mirror circa 1850 will be a definite focal point in any home, perhaps hung above a credenza, commode or console table.
