Pair of Late 18th C French Hand Painted Panel

Description

It was fanciful in the later part of the 18th C for antique Roman or Greek ruins to be depicted since this was considered to be high fashion and were used as wall decoration in houses of french nobility.  These two panels were salvaged from a chateau near Avignon, France.
