This French chest cabinet features a semi-circular top with serpentine accents, sitting above three dovetailed drawers fitted with elegant hardware adorned with garland motifs. The drawers are separated from the lateral paneled doors with side posts that are both fluted and reeded in a manner borrowing from the neoclassical style. The doors open (the keys are available) to reveal additional storage space. The ensemble is raised on four short feet, connected to one another through a delicately scalloped skirt.
