A French Louis XIII style walnut side table with barley twist base and single drawer from the early 19th century. Born in the early years of the fast changing 19th century, this French side table features a rectangular planked top with bevelled edges, sitting above a hand-cut dovetailed drawer with metal pull. The simple apron is adorned with two discreet volutes in the front. The table is raised on four eye-catching barley-twist legs, connected through rectangular block joints to a cross stretcher of the same style. The ensemble rests on four ball feet.  show less
